These photographs serve to spreads awareness about the urban heat island effect, a phenomenon whereby cities experience higher air temperatures than the surrounding countryside. The series presents as a collection of residers passed out on the sidewalks due to the heat. They are laser-etched on metal sheets to mimic urban infrastructure that not only worsens the conditions, but brings to attention the lack of vegetation to sustain it.
