(2022-2023)

 This series surveys daughters that overlap in stories of playing unwanted roles. Accompanying the portraits are teabags with archival images of their mothers at their age. Their voices are heard in an audio performance, spoken in an undeclared language in which the deeper we dig into our discomforts, the echoes resonate with us all. As we remain in a constant negotiation between who we are and who we were raised to be, we find refuge in this celebration of females as symbols of strength and tenderness.
